Wheels
|
Godmudders, of Alsip IL, swapped out the stock wheels and rims for a set of American Racing wheels (16.5 inch) and a set of Dunlop Mud Rovers (33x12.5x16.5) - the biggest you can fit on the three-quarter ton without going to a lift kit. These are the same wheels and tired as on the Dodge Ram. Cost: about $1,000 for wheels and tires and stainless steel lug nuts. |
Audio/Visual
|
Added 3 Pioneer 7" television monitors (one in the front and one in each headrest), a VCR and a Nintendo2 for the kids. Sure makes a difference on those long trips! Cost: with installation, around $4,500 |
Push
Bar
|
Once again it's back to Godmudders, to have a Rhino push bar and lights installed on the front of the truck! Cost: about $300 + installation |
Air
Horn
|
I was just sick of all those mini-vans that just drive around like they dont have a clue, so we had a truck air horn installed in this beast. Not for the faint of heart, this horn is the loudest I have ever heard! This kits is standard on those big rigs, so watch out! Cost: Horn is baout $450, but the difficult install ran an additional $500 |
Lift
Kits
|
The font was raised up 2.5" (to make the truck level). I didnt care for the "level" look, so back again to Godmudders to have the rear end brought up another 1". Just right. Cost: about $1,100 with all hardware (switches, mounting kit, high power option and cover) + installation |
